The B Sides

I recently (more like finally) obtained Photoshop and Lightroom from Adobe for $9.99 a month by signing up for Creative Cloud. At first I thought the offer was well...you know, too good to be true. It's definitely really good and a very true deal plus it's vaild until March 31st! 

I've been going through some older photos I never touched and having both these tools have made my editing far better. It's like being about to put something into words for the first the time. I will say that my editing process is slower now but far more rewarding. I'm extremely excited to do some new shoots in the near future! On top of working on the video editing skills, there's a lot to look forward to around here. 

Once More, with Feeling part 2

I was interested in seeing a different look from Kat. Black velvet to separate from the pink silk earlier in the day. And yes, I'm totally aware we are reaching serious 90s vibes in this set of pictures but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it.

Once More, with Feeling... part 1

2013 was one hell of a year for me photographically. Though I do wish I would of done more, I think I'd say I've done pretty well. I'm looking for this year to be different..very, very different. I've talked briefly about starting my own business out of this in my last post, or at least that's what I was getting at. I've been sitting on the idea for...pretty much, ever. I don't know why I've been waiting to just do it, but I am now!

The past month that Kat's been home has been so fun! I'm so sad she'll be leaving soon, but we made it count. I showed her around Arlington and she got her first Boba tea! It was all... very exciting. And of course we took a lot of pictures that day. Two looks, which is always super fun for me!

I finally got a scanner for all my polaroids and instax! These are always my favorite. 

Reflections and Beginnings.

I've pretty much been neglecting all internet responsibilities since Thanksgiving. I've basically switched retail jobs and this Christmas season has pretty much wrecked my social productivity. I mean, that's really the holiday season for everyone though.

Next year I'm definitely making photography a bigger priority and taking bigger strides to do it full time within the next few years while Reggie finishes getting his degree. Everything in the universe is telling me it's time to move forward and everyones telling me, "yeah, you can do this!" That's all I can really say about anything right now. You never know when something crazy can drop out of the sky (which is something that 2013 has definitely taught me!) I will say I'm doing a make over on this site so everyone might be seeing more of it.

Speaking of 2013, it's been a big big year. I know it's only Christmas Eve and I've got a whole week to go but I always feel like after Christmas the year is basically over. I'm so happy for all the opportunities that have been placed in front of me and the awesome events I've been able to shoot! Also this year has felt like my best photographic growth yet! I have some big ideas and goals in mind for this 2014.
