Familiarity

*note the theme jumps a little bit for the last three photos. Ally and I are just attracted to the most colorful walls in the city.

I took these a few weeks ago with Ally and I'm not exactly sure what prompted it other then the fact to finish off some film that was left in my 35mm. We started out in a familiar place and then explored the city for a bit for something a little different. I love the bring colors against her monochrome outfit and bold blondness!

Over The Bridge

I took pictures on the other side of this bridge with Kat back in December. It's crazy how different the places look on winter morning versus a summer evening. Either way both sets are beautiful and close to my heart. I think this one of my favorite places in the city. Loud and busy over 360 watching cars drive pass. I wouldn't advise if you're afraid of heights, cars or don't like people honking at you.

made another behind the scenes video for those who missed it.

Back By Popular Demand

It's been some time since I shot Allyson and Andrew together. I was thrilled when Ally told me he was in town and we had him meet up with us immediately! These two always having me laughing, so much so that it's hard to stay completely focused on what I'm doing ;) I don't mind for a second.

Obviously I'm really into color and movement right now. There really isn't anything like a fresh color wall which is a pretty frequent thing around here.

Black Swan

The best part of my camera is the fact that I can use HD video. I guess I've always had this secret dream that I'd direct music videos (if bands even make music videos anymore?) Either way, I'm in love with it. I'm still a little rocky with the editing but it's coming to me quickly. I'm going to cranking out more mini behind the scenes videos of my shoots. It's almost becoming the most fun part!

I've got some shoots in the works and some collaborations coming up in the near future. In fact, this shoot is from back on a very cold and rainy Superbowl Sunday. We were obviously all about celebrating the national day of football...

Once More, with Feeling part 2

I was interested in seeing a different look from Kat. Black velvet to separate from the pink silk earlier in the day. And yes, I'm totally aware we are reaching serious 90s vibes in this set of pictures but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it.
