Kat and Trent got the chance to come into town for day or two during spring break! I honestly had so much fun driving around town with them sweating, shopping and listening to music. We didn't shoot too much because we were very much living in the moment...also, you know, the heat. Luckily, I'll get to do some that in Houston in a couple of weeks for Kat's graduation (the girl is getting her MASTERS!!!)

Spring Breaking, part 1
In March, I hopped on a bus to see Kat and catch up with her and treat myself to a mini vacation. Houston is incredibly beautiful in so many ways from the murals to the crazy amount of palm trees. We shopped a lot, munched on macarons and of course did a couple of shoots. I think we were making up for lost time (when we saw each other back in December it rained the entire day). I've been showing off some of my film ones on Facebook and I'm excited to finally be done edit, ha.
I'm pretty excited about the work I've been producing this year already!

The B Sides
I recently (more like finally) obtained Photoshop and Lightroom from Adobe for $9.99 a month by signing up for Creative Cloud. At first I thought the offer was well...you know, too good to be true. It's definitely really good and a very true deal plus it's vaild until March 31st!
I've been going through some older photos I never touched and having both these tools have made my editing far better. It's like being about to put something into words for the first the time. I will say that my editing process is slower now but far more rewarding. I'm extremely excited to do some new shoots in the near future! On top of working on the video editing skills, there's a lot to look forward to around here.

Locals Only
A few weeks ago (my job) Urban Outfitters in Fort Worth had a big event! We hosted a bunch of really amazing local artist, Salsa Limon was serving tacos all night and Martin House was giving away free beer! Oh, and I can't forget to mention our kick ass receiver and his band Burning Hotels played in the parking lot that night. (if you haven' t heard of them yet, they're amazing. definitely check them out.)
Let's just say it was a super successful first event for us!
I had some minor problems taking pictures inside. You know, great lighting for looking and trying on clothes but horrible for my camera. But it was a very beautiful day outside and boy, was it hot out! That's May in Texas for you.
