A girl and her pup: part 2

I went to Austin last week to spend sometime with Audrey for her (late) 21st birthday present. Naturally there was no way I was going to be there for 2 days and not have a tiny shoot to come back with.

One of things we wanted to do was take Dutch to the dog park. He loved it! If there is anything more adorable then watching a puppy play at the dog park, then please let me know what it is. Not to mention he was very well behaved the whole time. He even let some of the girl pups beat up on him (I know, such a gentalman!)

oh, I forgot to mention she's recently married. Congrats, Mrs. Booms!

he's starting to become more like Audrey, obviously.

A girl and her pup

I happily got to see my best friend when I was visiting Austin this past week (the last time I took pictures of her was way back in January!) I drove out to her and her boyfriend's house in Burnet. Although I was skeptical of being out in the middle of no where, I did find it quite beautiful and relaxing. I helped make them both dinner and just enjoyed Audrey's company as I always do.

But secretly the best part was her puppy, Dutch. This dog was a total riot and such a doll to be around. You really couldn't help but to fall in love! I took some pictures of her and Dutch, you know, for old times sake. That pup sure does loves his mamma.

P.S. Audrey says she felt as if she was channeling Claire Danes via My So-Called Life...I'm not complaining.

crappy instax scans. sorry!

Impormptu!

I started off the year going on a week vacation to Austin. Of course, spending time with Audrey meant at least one impromptu shoot during the week. Surprisingly we did ours after an intense gym work out but she cleans up pretty well!

(Note that the sun was going down and it was freezing outside. So what we normally do an hour we did in maybe 20 minutes! it was a fun challenge to say the least.)

Biggest project of I've ever done is finally finished. Well, it's been finished for a couple days but I'm so happy to have it home with me for good! I'm extremely proud of these and they took a lot of work. I'm talking hours on hours of printing, lots of money spent on mount board and plenty of time stressing. From shoot to finished project took a month. It's weird to think I spent so much time on these without realizing it. But they are perfect and I'm excited to present them here.

not great but best I could get scan-wise. all are done 11x14 mount board with 8x10 (ish) prints all done full frame. (they've been cut down a little).
