7th street

Kat came back from Wyoming for winter break so we decided to do our same 'ol sleepover and adventure. If anyone says you'e too old for sleepovers, they must of had really horrible ones growing up. I'm 22 and have yet to be over sleepovers.

Anyways, we got up and adventured around 7th street and actually took pictures this time! We are both much bolder about shooting in public now. It actually makes the whole process kind of  fun!

2012 Reflections

This past year has a whirl wind. I definitely feel like everything flew by almost too fast for my liking, but here we are. 2013 will be a very special year for me, I feel it. Photographically I've grown so much and I'm still surprised by my progress sometimes. I'm not being cocky by any means but noticing your own growth, I believe, is a positive thing.

I can't wait to see what this new year has in store! Reggie and I have a lot projects in the making so I'm going to help us stay focused on it.

Blondie

(Note: I wrote this in the beginning of December. It's absolutely freezing here now...and rainy. But I hope everyone has an amazing and safe New Years!)


Allyson said she'd never thought she'd go blonde, but here she is in her silvery glory. I was stoked when she "announced" keeping this color because, to put it simple, she looks totally badass. Honestly, it gives her a snowy look just in time for Winter.

Speaking of Winter, we hardly feeling Fall here. We took these pictures on this afternoon, a 81 degree day with slight wind. I'm just thankful that although the weather is weird the trees don't seem realize it.

And May All Your Christmas' Be White

I felt like I was in a daze all day because I became a bride to be in the middle of the night! That's right, Reggie asked me to marry him and I obviously said yes. Well, I didn't really say yes, I more like screamed and ran around my apartment enthusiastically. We spent a lot of time with family and I think my phone almost blew up from texts and facebook likes (by the way, thank you all so much!) Reg and I are over the moon right now. We are already making wedding plans!

Besides that, it snowed all day long which is a rare thing even in here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I take that as a sign of good luck!
