2011 Reflection

 This year I especially experienced a lot of growth photographically. Maybe more then I have in any years past. To say the least, it was extremely unexpected and suffered through a lot emotionally. Moving to a new city, away from everything I've known and loved for my entire life, that can really kill inspiration but it can also really help it flourish. In the beginning of the year I expressed so much through photography with myself. I was starting to find out who I was artistically and my own personal style.

Summer came and went, then the semester began and I took a photo class that really changed my perspective. I've learned to love what I was doing again and why I'm perusing it. I'm more confident and reassured then I ever have been. I'm definitely going to be working hard this next year on accomplishing my dream. 

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read, like, comment and inspire me in the past couple of months. Your support has been so incredible and I can't even describe how thankful I am!

About two weeks ago my best friend came into town for a couple of days. It was really refreshing to have a familiar face. But one of the best parts is being able to have a model for a little while. We didn't take many pictures but I was happy with the results. These are just a few of my favorites:

I'm going back to the start

Some of my best of photos from last Summer/Fall. I feel like I grew so much photographically. I'm really proud of how far I've come. I'm excited to start meeting new people and finding new locations to shoot at this semester since I finally have my own car to use. I like looking back though! These are some of my more successful shoots and they are also completely unedited so sorry for them looking so raw.
