2015

The only thing I'm truly disappointed about in this year is my lack of shoots. I only have myself to blame, but for 2016 I have some amazing things up my sleeve...at least I'd like to think so. I want to focus more on living outside of the box when shooting. I don't really have a choice in that since moving anyways and I've been on the look out for some good scenery (which is my favorite part about being back in Austin).

But here's a bit of what I did get done this year. See ya, 2015. On to the next one...

Neighborly

I few months ago my dear friend Kyndra and I took a couple snaps around her neighborhood and chatted about life goals and photography. This girl is not only gorgeous but a wonderful photographer herself! She shoots and models the Free People Fort Worth instagram  and shoots film freelance. Even her husband, Trevor is an amazing photographer and artist himself, working along side her from time to time.

You can see more of her work on her site and Facebook!

In An Instant

I never really did an "end of 2014" post and we're almost done with January. I just got back from a brief vacation and I feel finally ready to start (and finish) all the projects I have twirling around in my mind.

These are some of the polaroids I've taken over the last few weeks 2014. I'm getting back into the swing of instant photos, my first true love. I look up to so many artist like  Lou Noble and Autumn De Wilde; I've been following their work since my prime Tumblr and Flickr infatuations. Lou's polaroid portraits really sparked something in me when I was about 18 and I've been in love ever since. Also, I've been working in my 35mm camera into shoots as well. Although my DSLR will always be number one for many obviously reasons, I do still love shooting film whenever I can.

P.S. plus shooting more video because that's just a fun extra.
