Stuck in the Suburbs

This is pretty much part two of the pictures I took of Kat. The weather was just how it looks: windy and overcast. Pretty much the perfect combination for any fun shoot. The wind basically blew us all over the place the entire time! We could hardly walk against the wind, our eyes were watering, hair was everywhere (especially for Kat since I recently got my hair cut super short). I think that's what made this so fun for us though. We love a challenge and not to mention these came out more beautiful then I could imagine.

Kat, you definitely deserve a thanks. You didn't let that wind stop you from being a posing queen!

Ask Alice

Kat came into to town for Spring Break and we didn't get to do just one but TWO shoots over the course of our 24 hours together. This is a super rare occasion, but I thank the extra hour of sunlight I've been getting.

This set was very impromptu. I found a beautiful bush, she had a pretty red bow. It was just a match made in heaven, really. Know that Kat loves Alice in Wonderland, I thought these were very appropriate. She'd makes a pretty great Alice as you can tell.

Sister, Sister

I took pictures of this duo back in September. I mentioned on Flickr about how these ladies how these girls are some of my favorite sisters of all time. The fun I have with them exceeds capacity and getting to take pictures of both their beautiful faces at once is real fun for me!

We also took Alaina to the church from my last shoot with Ally. I'm so excited to do more things at this location. So far it's been my favorite in all of DFW. 

No Church in the Wild

Allyson and I had been dying to take pictures at this church close to my work. I literally pass it all the time when I'm around there, but I've been waiting for the right (and warm) moment to shoot there. We kind of did it spontaneously because well, it's basically spring around here and Ally changed her hair color. For me those were good reason to take pictures...which shows how easily swayed I am to do a lot of things.
