Something new....something new
It had been a while since Kat and I really shot somewhere out of our element. I've become a terrible planner when it comes to locations lately, but luckily she's always down with a ride through town or walking a couple blocks until we find something at least half way decent. Well, this scene is way more than halfway decent. I shot Cierra's maternity pictures here last Spring but hadn't been back to the park more than to just catch Pokemon (I know, let's not talk about it).
I only regret not being able to take more instant film pictures because I (thought) one of my cameras was broken when I was trying to use it that day. Well, I'm happy to say today I found out my camera isn't broken, I just literally haven't changed the batteries in 6 or 7 years *insert eye roll*.

Girl Next Door
Is it just me or did July happen in a flash? I hardly remember the time going by and now I'm here inching close to mid August and I have no idea what I've been doing the last month. All I know is that's been crazy hot the past month and I'm dreaming of cooler times. You know, back when it was semi bearable to shoot outside....
This shoot was back in those days. May, to be exact. I snuck a quick trip down there before Kat's summer travels began and wouldn't of been a good time if we didn't sneak in a shoot (or two).

a Shoot Lost in Time
Ally and I did a mini shoot some where between January and February. I say it in that way because I've completely lost track of time. I honestly think everyone is feeling that way mostly due to mid winter/early spring weather is all over the place.
The dress she's wearing is my mom's that she gave to me! She's had it as long as I can remember and I've always loved the colors. I try to steer away from too many flowery prints but I'll take water color florals any day.
